Compare those measurements with the selected bed’s usable sleeping area, not only its outside dimensions. Raised edges and thick walls reduce the space available inside. If the smaller option leaves little room to turn or stretch, consider the larger size after checking the space available in your home. For a cat cave or covered bed, also check the entrance and interior height. Small, Medium and Large are product-specific labels, so compare actual measurements each time. If the dimensions are unclear, send us the product link and your pet’s resting measurements before ordering.

Start with how your pet likes to rest. A curled-up sleeper may prefer a round bed, while a pet that stretches out may need a wider, open sleeping area. A bolster or sofa-style bed offers an edge to rest against. A cat cave provides a covered space for cats that enjoy hiding. Some open bed styles can suit either a dog or a cat when the size, access and materials are appropriate for that pet. Check the description and selected options on the individual product page. Cover fabric, filling, shape and construction vary between designs. A plush appearance does not by itself mean a bed is waterproof, chew-resistant or machine washable. If a feature matters to you and is not clearly listed, ask us about that specific product before ordering.

Washing methods vary by product. Check the product description and care label to see whether the whole bed, only a removable cover, or neither can be machine washed. Do not assume that wool caves, filled cushions and faux-fur covers share the same care instructions. Use the specified cleaning and drying method, and let the bed dry completely before use. If care instructions are missing, contact us before washing.
