The polyester flannel cover forms the soft outer surface. Beneath it, a waterproof inner liner separates the fabric from the polyurethane egg-crate foam. The four bolsters offer different sides for your dog to lean against while resting.

Make room inside the wraparound edges

Measure your dog lying on its side if that is its usual posture. Compare the length and width with the interior mattress area. Keep the lower front opening accessible when placing the sofa against a wall or beside furniture.

Unzip the cover for machine washing

Remove the zippered polyester cover and follow its washing label. Do not wash the foam. Check the liner’s own care instructions before cleaning that component.

Is the whole sofa waterproof?

The specified waterproof component is the inner liner. That does not mean the outer flannel stays dry or that the complete bed can be submerged.

Where should my dog enter the bed?

The lowered section at the front provides the intended opening through the surrounding bolsters.
